BEC vom Flycolor Regler fällt aus
BEC (+5V) fällt nach Anschluss einer Wasserpumpe aus...
Was hab ich falsch gemacht?
Zum betreiben einer Wasserpumpe im Kühlkreislauf eines Rennbootes habe ich alle Komponenten verschaltet,
und konnte danach ca. 20 Min. fahren. Dann war der (+5V) Ausgang vom BEC des Reglers (Flycolor 150A) tot.
Hab alles überprüft, und finde keinen Fehler...
Was mir aufgefallen ist...
- ohne einschalten der Pumpe war die Stromentnahme vom Receiver allein ca. 29mA, gemessen am (+5V) des BEC-Ausganges
- mit einschalten der Pumpe ging der Strom auf ca. 60mA hoch, normal?
Zieht der Optokoppler am Eingang des RC-Schalters soviel Strom zum Betrieb?
Ich stell hier mal ein Photo dazu ein. Vielleicht hat jemand hier eine Idee oder Tip, was falsch gelaufen ist..

@BNoXTC1: Der Killswitch hat einen PIC µC drinnen und dieser braucht eine geregelte Strom- und Spannungsversorgung.
Diese wird durch den Längsregler im Killswitch erzeugt. Daher kann man (im speziellen ich, weil ich das schon gemacht habe) den Killswitch mit 2S betreiben.
@fireball412: Die Information habe ich mir "direkt von der Platine" geholt, als ich genau vor dieser Frage stand und keine Rückmeldung im Forum erhalten habe.
Ich habe hierzu den Aufkleber des Killswitchs soweit aufgezogen, dass ich die Kiste öffnen konnte und habe dann, neben dem PIC 12...
einen Längsregler (im SO 8 Gehäuse, direkt neben dem Empfängereingang) gefunden (Bezeichnung des IC's bei Google eingegeben).
Da es länger her ist, dass ich das gemacht habe, kann ich mich nicht mehr an den Typen erinnern, ich denke aber, Ihr könnt meine Aussage leicht selbst nachprüfen
(und gleich ein längeres Empfängerkabel dranlöten, ich durfte meinen ein weiteres mal öffnen). Es steht leider nicht mit dem Manual in Verbindung.

Hi Michel,
ups, hab jetzt mal den angeratenen Diodentest gemacht, und ups, ich wurde fündig...
Bei Zwischenschaltung des DVM von Switch-GND nach Receiver GND sagt der Diodentest bei anliegenden +5V-BEC und abgestecktem 2s-Akku werden ca. 400mV Spannungsabfall angezeigt. Na Klasse...
Hab mal schnell den Schalter vorsichtig geöffnet, und mir mal die verbauten SMD-Teile angeschaut. Also da drin auf der Platine hocken:
-1x IRF7456-HEXFET
-1x CLM2931A- Low Power voltage regulator
-1x PIC12F675- RISC CPU
-1x PC357N-Single Optocoupler (nix da von Double-Optocoupler, wie beschrieben...)

Hmm, auf meinen zweiten Blick sah es eher so aus, dass die LED fest zwischen LiPo-Puls und -Minus verdrahtet sei - dann könnte sie allerdings nicht blinken. Wenn sie gemäß Anleitung blinkt bzw. blinken kann, muss sie am PIC sein und dann wird über diesen Pfad definitiv die gelvanische Trennung aufgehoben (= das wäre Pfusch, da wäre der zweite Optokoppler erforderlich gewesen, oder aber - weit einfacher, billiger und von der Helligkeit her kontrollierbarer: man lässt die LED gegen +BEC blinken ...).

Entweder Du schmeißt das Ding weg, denn es ist nicht ok, wenn obiger Punkt zutrifft, oder aber Du zeichnest mal die komplette Schaltung raus. Um den "400mV-Pfad" zu finden, zeichne innerhalb des Blocks für den PIC von den Ausgängen zum Optokoppler bzw. zur LED intern jeweils eine Diode in Sperrrichtung nach + und GND ein (das sind diese "inhärenten" Dioden, die bei jedem CMOS-Chip herstellungsbedingt existieren). Ich habe mal "angefangen", siehe Anhang ("LDR" = "LowDropRegulator", "OC" = "OptoCoupler").

EDIT (Nachtrag zum defekten Flycolor)
Das BEC des Flycolor ist also "tot". Je nach Konzept versorgt es auch den Prozessor des Stellers, somit ist es bei einer gemeinsamen Stromversorgung logisch, dass der Steller nichts mehr tut. Man kann aber versuchen, 5V auf der roten Leitung einzuspeisen - ist ja eh schon kaputt. Im Idealfall läuft der Prozessor dann wieder. Es kann aber auch sehr gut sein, dass der Prozessor beim Defekt des BEC Überspannung "gesehen" hat und daher kaputt ist.
Wenn das BEC des Flycolor ein Schaltregler ist, kann man da einen Haken dran machen - der Reparaturaufwand kann "unermesslich" werden.
Für den Fall das es (mehrere parallele) lineare Spannungsregler sind, oder aber die CPU einen eigenen Linearregler (*) hat, kann man einen Tausch versuchen. SO-8-Chips tauscht man am bequemsten und risikoärmsten, indem man die Beine mit einem Cutter abschneidet (Klingenüberstand auf ~1mm einstellen und Pin für Pin über das Gehäuse hebeln, um die PCB keinesfalls zu beschädigen), und dann einzeln von den Pads ablötet. Pads mit Lötsauglitze säubern. Das Auflöten des neuen Chips ist dann simpel.

Dazu aus dem Datenblatt des Prozessors die Vcc-Pins raussuchen und zu einem potentiellen eigenen Linearregler verfolgen, so als Anfangsidee.

Gute Morgen Michael,
melde mich wieder zurück, speziell zum Thema "Flycolor 150A kein BEC mehr.."
Nun, hab mir mal die Mühe gemacht, und das Teil bis auf die Signal-Hauplatine komplett (entsilikoniert..) Oh Gott, was hab ich getan...https://www.rc-rennboote.de/forum/im...milies/mad.png
Der erste Versuch mit vorsichtiger Rückeinspeisung der (+) 5V hatte nicht funktioniert, da bereits bei eingestellten ca. 3,5V und max. 0,4A die beiden Schottky-Dioden sowie der MP24820 schön warm wurden.
Aber ich hoffe, den Fehler gefunden zu haben. Nach einiger Suche blieb nur noch der MP24820 übrig. Laut Datenblatt ein Step-Down-Converter mit max.5A Ausgangsstrom. Der wird gespeisst von der Batteriespannung, und gibt dann die (+) 5V aus.
Ja, am Ausgang war ein niederohmiger Kurzschluss von ca. 14 Ohm nach GND...
Den Ausgangspin vorsichtig entlötet und ein wenig nach oben gebogen, dann neue Messung.
Und, der Kurzschluss auf der (+) 5V Leitung war weg. Nun noch mal vom Pin1 (Out) nach GND gemessen, und die 14 Ohm waren wieder da.
So weit so gut.
Ab jetzt wird es dann lustig.. Wo bekomme ich so ein Teil her? Er wird scheinbar massig in Laser-Druckern verbaut....
Natürlich nur vom bösen Chinesen, Europa, kann man vergessen...
Fündig geworden bei Ali.... express für ganz wenig Geld. Aber, Versand nach Austria, no... Deutschland ja...
Soll scheinbar eine Zoll-Geschichte im Zusammenhang mit der EU und ihrer dämlichen Verpackungsordnung und CO-2 Geschichte sein, wo Österreich nicht mitmacht, und dadurch hinten runter fällt.
Also wenn Du jezt keine Idee hast, wo ich so ein Teil herbekomme, werde ich es zum Schwager nach Deutschland liefern lassen,
und dann wieder mit einem Brief retur zu mir...:thumbdown:
Ja, und dann bleibt noch die Frage, soll ich nun mal versuchen, wieder mit der Rückeinspeisung der (+) 5V über die Signalleitung zu gehen, einen kleineren 4s Akku sowie Motor anzustecken und mal sehen, was beim gasgeben mit der Funke pssiert, oder nicht?
Wo bekommt man dann auch die dünnflüssige, graue Silikon-Vergussmasse her zum wieder verschliessen des Reglers,
falls der Abschlusstest erfolgreich sein sollte??

"MP2482DN" oder "MP24820"? Im deutschen ebay gibt es ersteren (aber auch nur aus China), letzteren nicht, z.B. fünf Stück: https://www.ebay.de/itm/404230087235
Das Ding ist "not recommended for new design", also abgekündigt.
Funktioniert der 78L05 unten im Bild noch? Das wäre noch interessant/wichtig. Er wird aus der Akkuspannung betrieben, gehe ich davon aus. Er könnte sehr gut die interne Versorgung der CPU sein, wobei mich das etwas wundert wegen der 2s-Untergrenze des Stellers. Eigentlich bräuchte es dort einen Low-Drop-Regler, der dann aber wieder i.d.R. die 6s-Obergrenze nicht "schafft". Gegen Entladeende des 2s-LiPo kann der 78L05 die 5V nicht mehr sicher halten ... naja.
- den MP2482 rausschneiden (der ist definitiv hin)
- am Akkuanschluss ein Labornetzteil mit z.B. 12V anschließen, strombegrenzt auf 0,5-1A (sollten eigentlich nur ein paar mA sein, heiß werden darf nix)
- der 78L05 sollte arbeiten und 5V bereitstellen
- einen Empfänger aus einem Empfängerakku betreiben und das schwarze sowie das weiße Kabel anschließen, sofern bisher nichts seltsames passiert ist
- die Strombegrenzung der 12V auf ein paar A hochdrehen
- einen sehr "milden" (sehr wenig kV) Motor anschließen
- ausprobieren (falls das jetzt schon funzt, macht das kaputte BEC nicht die CPU-Versorgung, sondern der 78L05). Dann könnte man den Steller einfach nutzen - halt ohne BEC
- über das rote Kabel der Servoleitung 5V zuführen (im Idealfall über ein zweites Labornetzteil, begrenzt auf z.B. 300-500mA, nur einige 10mA-100mA erwartet, ebenfalls nix heiß)
- ausprobieren (läuft die CPU nun?)
- "richtigen" LiPo anschließen
- "richtigen" Motor anschließen, ggf. mit Luftschraube belastet, sodass "richtig" Strom fließt
- ausprobieren
Sollte das so funktionieren, ist nix außer dem BEC kaputt. Dann lohnt es natürlich, den Schwager einzuspannen für das Ersatzteil für ein paar Euro. Die Schottkies solltest Du dann noch prüfen, auch die Spule.
Ich selbst vergieße meine Steller "schon immer" (in der Tat, habe wirklich nie einen unvergossenen Steller im Boot) in einer Form aus Acrylglas mit normalem Laminierharz. Kleine Exemplare für z.B. Minihydro schmiere ich einfach mit UHU plus schnellfest zu. "Offizielle" Elektro-Vergussmasse auf Silikon-, oder PU-, oder was-auch-immer-Basis ist vermutlich für Endverbraucher nicht so leicht zu bekommen.
Der MAX662A ist kein Flash-Memory, sondern eine Ladungspumpe, also ein Hilfs-IC, um die nötigen 12V für den Flashvorgang selbst zu erzeugen. Allerdings benötigen moderne CPUs wie der 80C51F392 diese Hilfsspannung nicht mehr, somit wäre es auch möglich, dass der Chip hier "missbraucht" wird als Stromversorgung für die FET-Treiber (wäre dann aber arg "schwächlich" dafür ...). Die räumliche Nähe "spricht Bände" :(. Das hat aber mit dem Defekt vermutlich nichts zu tun.

jetzt bin ich's doch noch einmal mit einer wahrscheinlich naiven Fragge an Dich...
Was hält eigentlich die Regler-Hersteller davon ab, diese Art FET in den Endstufen zu verbauen?
Eine bessere Wärmeableitung dieser "DirectFET" gibt es doch gar nicht...?
Und der Mehrpreis ist doch sicher bei einer Mengen-Herstellung vernachlässigbar, oder nicht?
