Hi all,
Sorry, my german is really poor, I just speak english.
I've recently bought a Jota, lipos pack will be Rhino 2S 3700 (220g).
Which Feigao would you think is the best, 380 S OR L ? And which kV ?
I don't plan to race with it.
Cheers :prost:

Thanks for the information ;)
The 380L-07 is the mandatory motor for german LiPo-Masters race class HSA: Quite fast, very durable, considerable runtime, somehow idiot-proof, sorry ;).
In my opinion
I don't plan to race with it
you have two possibilities of optimization:
1) take a more lightweight motor (130-150g) of same kV (4000-4200) and build the boat very light: Will be less expensive, quite durable as well, gives a tiny little bit more speed and a little more runtime due to the loss of weight (HSA has a mandatory minimum weight of 1000g).
2) take one turn less of the 380L (-06) and still build the boat very light ==> considerably more speed, less runtime, stress for the accumulator but more fun for you: The hull can well handle the additional power compared to L-07

We're also discussing this subject on a French forum and I'll go for a 380L 6 turns, more fun :D
:thx:

Maiden run done last week :
net weight 880g
weight on the prop 200g (23%)
prop K36
Perfect ! Fast and stable (too much ?), it just has a slight tendency to turn on the right.
I now must work on the turn fin, the prop and the weight balance ;)
