As you are a Volvo Motorfan ,here is a good show with such engine . Turbocharred up to 700 horses .But i know how they have don it . Lot of pressursaving rods around the piston to prevent it from blow off.

Stock b21ft, b23et turbo rods and cranks withstand over 400HP!
T6 whiteblocks can produce over 700hp on E85 ! with stock internals that would include rods...

Penta steel cranks are also available from JUNKYARDS around 50.00 dollars USD For NA's modification!

Try water injection or Benz CIS V8 fuel distribution systems with maserati knock computers.....and skeletonized MAHLE pistons

Enjoy a real volvo guy who knows.... Been in them since 1977 no information is new for me... Lastly highly modified can produce well over 700. 4 cylinders and 20 valve DOHC T5's upwards of a thousand by high level Swedish tuners. Is not a dream or a video needed to confirm for me.
