Hi guys!! A new catamaran for me,as my previous hpr c5009 have a sim crack, after a big flip.
So the boat comes with the follow set up:
1)mhz bueletproof mystic 114
2)H.S drives from mhz
3)original rudder from mhz, with some diferent levers for direct servo movement with no gaps.
4)swordfish 8s 200amps controllers
5)mhz servo mount
6)3s 1100mah to feed the castle B.E.C
7)handmade battery trays from 2,2mm carbon
8)lehners 2240/8 hiamp/lk with 8mm shafts and thrust bearings (ezo f8/16 no race)
9)homemade clamp system for fast out and entry the motors in the hull with 3 screws, and together with the collets.(1minute per motor)
10) 6s /7s 1p per motor hyperion45c and nannotech65/130c (but i need more powerfull batts)
Now as the boat have the same set-up with a friend here, named klaus,i need some help on the trims,as the boat is unstable on 7s....
will folow with photos ,and measurements,of the boat.
thanks Stelios.

Hello Stelios,
the pictures looks good for the first view. We have the same Setup but not the same hardware. I have the old drives (round and 1,5 cm shorter). My esc are from Modellbauregler 4-8S and 200 A. My high speed runs with 6 or 7S was with special props. These props need an extreme negative attitude and can not be compared with Octura props. You simply have everything check and try different settings.
1. Drives 100% parallel.
2. Rowing vertically.
3. Swordfish full throttle (EPA set to 80 % , teach full throttle and then make full EPA to 120 % or more).
4. Prop to the outside is ok.
5. Center of cravity 31-33cm or drives more negativ.
6. Testing, Testing, Testing
greeting
Klaus
PS I hope you understand my bad english.

Hello Stelios,
2. Install rudder verticaly and is better for Highspeed-Setups over 160 Km/h if the rudder blade is slightly tilted backwards (10 - 15 ° ) . It must also be free from play .
greeting
Klaus
PS my rudder is a knife blade, is not so thick.

Klaus, very interesting blade.....i can make one in future from spring steel (stainless) as i have in my workshop...i let you know on this.
also yours drives,are nice!!!!
Thanks a lot for info!!!!!

6.July.2015, 14:22
also you are right for the free play of the support of rudder......once before 2 years,i have a loose screw on the hpr i own,and the boat cannot get stable.....crazy!!!!!

what i can say for the knife.........(thriller set up).....hehe....good idea the knife!!!!
i will inform for the spring steel metal that i have in my shop..(stainless steel)
is from coil, comes out as a sheet metal, and you can cut it with angle grinder or with laser
only high cobalt drills, and low speed cutting on the drill....here on photo is a 1mm thick of this steel,on my race hydro(vampire)
accidentaly i hit a catamaran, and the catamaran opens....the fin whas there,in its original shape!
when bends,is coming to his original shape again....80429

Hi guys!
After crash, drives whas destroyed...so new drives (hs) comes from MHZ
New drives comes with diferent cad so the hubes must change,as the angle whas extreme negative even in zero.....
I make two new hubes,to have the ability to go on zero,if i spin the props to inside in the future.

Hi modellers....
I have long period to write something,as my daily job keeps me out of my hobby.
Some good news on this mystic.
I make some huge changes on the prop rotation, and on the rudder....longer rudder is magic when drive props to inside!!!!
Two very good speeds with big props.
First video with 2x 7s (1850kv lehners 2240/8 as always) and x457 milled to 54!!!! 165,4km/h and i whas extreme nervous that something bad will be happen....and you can hear me on the video.....i wait for explosion, but finaly work very grate.Need to hold full throtle more, for more speed....
https://youtu.be/zrs5B2fuWNw?t=3
On the next video again with same props and heated lipos i drive more with full throtle.....the speed whas very impresive!!! 180,8kmh

The days that we make the long rudder tests,in a small place, and small props....
https://youtu.be/QVRSI9gFJpQ
and some photos......

90943
Also big stability comes from Mhz H.S drives, but needs to be close on zero angle...this cant be happen with original drive holders....I whas lucky to make my own holders from the start of my build.
Thanks carphunter for yours help and recomendations!!
In future i will try to hit more speed, and as the 2240 motors comes to their limits, two 2250 is on the way to be here.
Thanks,Stelios Sakantaris.
