Hi Guys.

We started in Hungary the F1 tunnel madness- next year first races :)

Most of us wuold like to race the Roxter with inboard motor configuration...also to support european producer :)

Could you give me good setup tips for 2S Lipo?

motor size and kV, prop size etc.

Also geometry dimensions would help a lot for the beginning.

Thank you.

Peter

Hi Guys.

59 checking shots...nobody has experience with this little evil?

thanks.

Peter

PS: Iv found some building manuals on the net but Im not shure which works quite well.
As Iv mentioned, here in Hungary we started to establish a new local classcalled F1 tunnel and 8 people decided to use Heikos Roxter.
We think because several people around has kind of tunnel Fclass boats (inboard outboard motor) our group will be quite big.
The course will be a mixture of 3angle eco and half of the mono/hydro oval + add one buoy inbetween this two courses to have a very sharp left turn.

Hi.

Karoly (Kukorelly the eco guru) will join us to compete. He made an exact ratio drawing of the course:

not bad hehe

Hello Werner.

Many thanks for your proposal...what about 3S?

Is it necessary the 36size motor...due to some weight distribution?

Thanx again for replay...

Hi Ales

that doc goole link doesa not work.

Why a lot of you use right side rudder?...just cause the oval course?

We will turn left also, so center rudder wil be required i think so.

Thanks for replay.

...

Many thanks for your proposal...what about 3S?

...

I had 3s in my Roxters with LMT 1920/9, next one would get 2s, just because of the narrow space inside.
(or an outbord)

...

Is it necessary the 36size motor...due to some weight distribution?

...

With 3s necessary, to get the CG to the front. With 2s I think also 28 size ist applicable, f.i. this one (http://www.rc-raceboats.de/shop/lbp2850/25d-5280upm/v-784.html).
Here (http://www.rc-raceboats.de/forum/showthread.php?11655-ROXTER-von-Heiko-Danz-ein-Aufbaubericht.../page2)you find the building report about my 2nd Roxter.

Hello Werner.

Superb!!! nice building manual.

thanx for all details.

Hope soon we will have our Roxter babies and enjoy the building of them.

Does this hull turns well left also?... in case if the rudder is center or rightside one?

thanx.

best wish,

Peter

Even with rudder behind the prop turning left will be not really good.

I would try prop in centerline with no offset und rudder left beside the prop.
The drag of the rudder compensate the propwalk on the straight.

I tried such a setting in a mono and steering both directions was fine. Only problem can be if u throttle down in a righthand turn, boat can spin in. But this depends on hull.
