The most interesting question to me is what is improved in V2? We have ( or had ) 2 V1s in our group and, to say it politeful, we had not been very amused with the performance.

As I mentioned in the past, the Furias and Fuegos are not exactly good choice for rookies. It needs and takes time to set them up,,, just as any other boat on the market. But as you find it, results can be interesting.... just see the final heat of mono1 at the Worldchampionship 2010 ( 3 Furias against 3 Asian hulls)

Ok, Peter, that confirms my idea with the V1 that 30 degrees V is too much since the V2 with about 20 degrees is more flat and probably easier to set up.

The silence defo finished.

Last weekend we launched the first Furia V2.

We made some raw setup, sure we will focuse on the sprayrails design and position, but the performance of the new Furia is incredible.

I can defo say, its such kind of revolution of the old Furia V1. Our credo is stability in all conditions at highest speed and consistency.

Prototype E setup:

Motor: Leopard 4pole 2860/3400kV
Cells: 3S 4200mAh 90C (Xenon Power)
ESC: some kind of old Schulze (???) 100Amp...:bang
Prop: TS CNC 36mm
Sprayrails: AeroNaut 8x4 and 6x3mm profiles fixed with thin doubleside tape on the hull.

Basic dimensions:

Motor: 317mm
Stinger center: 44,5mm measured from the partingline on the transom!!!!!!
Offset: 0-1mm right (prototype 0mm)
Stinger lenght: 75mm
Cells position: as far as possible to the rear...sorry I forgot to measure the CG....

The front sprayrails are paralell on the full lenght of the front section. I add 1mm/60mm of polyester putty on the front section keel to lift up littlebit the step.
On the prototype we did not filled up with polyester putty the sprayrails-hull link, but it gives sence after the finalisation of the setup to do it.
Our steering system has adjustabe lenght to define the correct transom rudder axle distance for exact turnability.

PS: this weekend we will have a 2days competition, after that Ill be able to give some tips regarding this lenght+ turnfin and rudder blade dimensions and sure more exact sprayrails positioning.

Soory for the chaos...
I have modded the rear keel...3angle sanding, BUT I think we will fill it back to the origin shape V and slightly round it to get just a peanut of lift at the rear section.
