How can I know that my controller has an optocoupler that needs a separate powersupply source ( eine versorgungsspannung)? This is important for jumpersetting.

Does anybody know some controllers with optocouplers that needs such a suplementary power supply??

Are using ETTI, hacker, Kontronik and AS28-150BL controllers.

Hello Jef,

I don't know neither the discharge protection nor your esc.
However, all integrated opto coupler in present electronic speed controllers do not need separate power supply.
This is required for separate (external) opto couplers only.
So you may remove the second jumper.
